The biggest event in the mobile developer’s community is fast approaching and we’d love for you to get involved with Over The Air 2011!

There are details about OTA below and if you need more info, let me know.

    OVER THE AIR 2011

From 9am September 30th to 5pm October 1st, up to 400 developers & designers from around the world will descend on the UK’s Bletchley Park for nearly 36 hours of non-stop mobile development at Over the Air 2011. Based on the Hack Day model, Over The Air is Europe’s largest mobile developer event.

For its 2011 outing attendees will have the pleasure of creating new innovative mobile applications and websites in the beautiful surroundings of Bletchley Park. The developers will share the space used to crack World War Two’s most complex codes and in honour of our location, we are re-enacting WW2 over the two days, culminating in a live show on stage of the D-Day landings (if they’d taken place on Twitter, with mobile devices, loaded with pyrotechnics).

Taking inspiration from some of the world’s greatest thinkers and scientists they’ll hack and design throughout the night. 2011 will see Over The Air deliver over 100 talks from the world’s leading experts in mobile development and design. It will also host an O’Reilly Ignite event on the Friday night.

It’s a great chance to hang with the most creative and brilliant mobile developers and designers in the world and really there’s only one place to be on the September 30th and October 1st – that’s Bletchley Park.

Over The Air is a live event that runs for 48 hours. Because of that, there’s always lots happening and there’s plenty of opportunities to get some great actuality, for radio, TV and print.

If you need to get a feel for what it looks like, check out OTA 2010 on flickr @ or watch this video which shows a Hack Day, organised by the same people @

Coming to OTA is a great way to directly engage with your audience and we’re really happy to help with whatever you need. We’ve got a full range of facilities to hand and a full-time runner at your disposal.

If you’d like to come or need more info about access, facilities and schedules, please get in touch.

We look forward to seeing you at Bletchley Park!
