Bankole Oluwafemi Joins OTEKBITS as a Contributor

The new brand identity was unveiled yesterday.  And today, we have an interesting announcement. OTEKBITS is very pleased to welcome a new special contributor: Bankole Oluwafemi…Yes, @MrBankole is joining the OTEKBITS family as a contributor.

Bankole is not new to the ecosystem. He is a freelance design consultant, ardent technology enthusiast and prolific writer who enjoys rendering what would ordinarily be incomprehensible tech babble into plain English. Unknown to most people, he also likes to do all the geeky stuff that lawyers like him aren’t really expected to do. When he’s not poking around in Photoshop or squinting at code, he’s probably hanging out in the living lab close to his house.

Anyone who has been following Bankole on twitter and / or his writings will know exactly why we were so keen to add Bankole’s voice to the site. He’s one of the most consistently engaging voices in the tech ecosystem.

According to Asemota, @MrBankole has the knack for spurring real conversations around topics that are largely Nigerian in nature and he is another glimmer of hope in dark abyss.

What To Expect From @MrBankole on OTEKBITS:

Bankole will be writing regularly (every couple of days) to stimulate the ecosystem onto good works, offering advice and providing insightful write-ups on products / services, developers, businesses and business owners. He will be churning out those incisive and provocative opinion pieces that he’s already been known for.

You can read his personal blog or follow him on Twitter.

So here we go. Help us to welcome @MrBankole to the OTEKBITS family.

Looking forward to read from Mr Bankole. We need easily identifiable writers who understand the evolving tech industry in Nigeria and are not afraid to pull some punches

Techbeats tekbeats etc. No need to move too far away from the current brand. Oo Nwoye

Hmm, I’m sure my uncle Mike Arrington would have something to say about this too, I’ll just go and ask him : )
