CcHub Nigeria Gets Internet Access from Mainone Cable

Some days ago, I wrote on “6 reasons why we need to support co-creation hub” and now CcHub is getting  a big support from one of the leading players in the telecom ecosystem. Mainone Cable – the first submarine cable company to offer open access, wholesale broadband capacity in West Africa – has just offered to provide free internet access to the CcHub location.

According to the information made available on CcHub’s twitter page, MainOne Cable will be providing 10MBps internet access direct to CcHub venue. This is coming just few weeks after the hub receives funding from the Omidyar network and Indigo Trust.  This is definitely a good development and is a sign of great things to come. I am excited about this and I expect many key industry players to add their support to CcHub shortly.
